AFL:Knights wants to coach again - manager

Sacked Essendon coach MATTHEW KNIGHTS says he's disppointed at the decision to dump
him but his management insists he wants to continue to coach in the AFL.

KNIGHTS says he'll take the rest of the week to consider his immediate future after
his contract, which had two more years to run, was terminated by the Bombers on Sunday.

His manager DAN RICHARDSON says KNIGHTS is keen to remain in the industry and resume
his coaching career.

The early favourites to replace KNIGHTS as Essendon coach are former Port Adelaide
premiership mentor MARK WILLIAMS and current Bombers assistant ALAN RICHARDSON.
