Fed: Kovco inquiry postphoned amid DNA test results delay

The inquiry into Private JAKE KOVCO'S death .. has been forced to postpone its public
hearings today .. because of delays in getting the results from DNA tests on the soldier's
gun.

NSW Police were expected to tell the inquiry whether they'd identified the source of
unidentified DNA on the gun that killed Private KOVCO in Iraq.

But they're not sure if they'll be ready today.

The inquiry's been adjourned until 10 am (AEST) tomorrow.
